Srinagar, Mar 27 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday informed the Legislative Assembly that centrally sponsored schemes under the Smart City Mission have been fully implemented in the Union Territory.
Replying to an unstarred question (A.Q. No. 892) by MLA Ali Mohammad Sagar, the government said it is “not a fact” that Smart City Mission (SCM) projects have not been fully executed in J&K.
The government, as reported by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), further shared city-wise details of funds sanctioned and utilised under the mission. In Jammu city, an amount of ₹980 crore was sanctioned, out of which ₹921 crore has been utilised. Similarly, in Srinagar, ₹903.90 crore was sanctioned, with ₹902.78 crore already spent.
